Located at Le Cernil 5, this charming eatery offers an inviting escape into the rustic Swiss countryside. Guests have raved about the exceptional babyboeuf steak and the classic rösti, both of which have been described as “finger-licking good.” It’s clear that the kitchen here takes pride in serving dishes that reflect the rich culinary traditions of the region. The pulsating ambiance, characterized by friendly service and a genuine connection to the land, ensures each visit is more than just a meal; it’s an experience.

A welcoming smile from the sommelière greets you upon arrival, even during busy hours, creating a vibe that’s both lively and familial. The menu offers delightful countryside dishes, and whether you opt for a simple salad or delve into one of the hearty potages, you can trust that each bite will be wholesome and fulfilling.
Keep in mind, it’s important to bring cash, as Guillaume Tell embraces a traditional approach with no credit cards accepted—a charming quirk noted by visitors who appreciate the authentic feel of this establishment. With a selection that delights both adults and children alike, families can find comfort in dishes such as schnitzel and cheese slices, often praised by the little ones. This family-friendly ambiance, combined with attentive service, makes each meal memorable.
In essence, Restaurant Guillaume Tell is not just a restaurant, but rather a celebration of regional flavors, communal dining, and heartfelt hospitality.
